I love these three kiddos. My oldest child is smitten with Elena - and if he could take his eyes off her for a second, he'd be equally taken with little Lucia. Lucky for them, brother CJ is watching out for the boys! Cute, cute kids - and once you see their parents, you'll agree that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

It's been ages since I've posted new photos - not because I haven't taken any - there just aren't enough hours in the day to do all I want to do. That said, I wanted my first posting of 2009 to be a special one - and these two did not disappoint. Kendall is my brother in-law, for those of you who notice his dashing good looks - same gene pool as my hot husband and cutie kids, hehe. And it takes only a second to see why he loves Claire so much - if her eyes don't steal your heart, her smile and warm personality surely will.

I can't wait for the wedding!!

These two cuties happen to be children of some of my high school friends. I was so excited when Kati emailed and asked if I would be available to do a session with them. My favorite time of year is upon us. There is something almost magical about the colors this time of year - and at the right time of day, I'm almost in Heaven. And then add five bubbly little girls...well I can barely contain my excitement! What a grand time we had running around the yard, catching frogs, and bouncing through the flowers. Here's a quick peek at Kristin and Peter's big day. Such a fun couple! It was obvious to all how much they adore one another. Of course, I have known this for many months now, as they were my first ever engagement session - and then first ever wedding booking. I've looked forward to their day for the past year - and it did not disappoint!

I love this detail...the lace was from Peter's mother's wedding dress.

Tina and Darren were super sports one recent morning as we fought the biggest army of mosquitoes I've ever seen! I think the first shot was just after one nearly scared Tina to death - we all had a laugh as she dodged the bites.

Only in Kentucky can one be legally double related to someone, hehehe. Follow if you can - my mom and Judy are cousins; my dad and Ronnie are cousins. Mom married Dad; Judy married Ronnie - everyone had kids (myself and my cousins Carla and sister Kelly included). Carla and Kelly and I have the same great-grandparents on both sides.

Even if you didn't follow all of that, you have to agree that Great Grandmother Elliott and Great Grandmother Flowers would adore these kiddos. Will and Katey are just like their mom in a lot of ways - and with Owen being a little like me, I think these cousins will have as many fun days as we did as kids!
